A perfect place to unwind and discover the pleasures of Snowdonia, Gesail is secret hideaway with enchanting walks, climbs, bird watching, riding, shooting, canoeing, swimming and fishing nearby.

The Dolgellau estuary, Cader Idris, Lake Vyrnwy, Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, Dovey Valley activity centre as well as the wide beaches of west Wales and are all within an easy drive with Snowdon beyond.

Machynleth has the local Arts Centre, MOMA, for exhibitions & concerts and the world famous Centre for Alternative Technology. There is a really good market on Wednesdays.
